Relationships are not easy. In fact they are possibly one of the hardest things in life we need to manage. No one taught us how to create healthy relationships nor how to work cooperatively when a relationship breaks down…
Maybe you can relate to some of these statements:
- We are stuck in repetitive negative patterns that are tearing us apart.
- We’ve just lost the spark in our life and/or relationship.
- Intimacy in my marriage feels like a distant memory.
- My partner has had an affair and I feel devastated.
- I struggle to express my feelings or to communicate the really important things.
- We keep getting into cycles of anger, shouting and arguments that don’t get resolved.
- I am feeling depressed because of the end of my relationship.
- Our marriage feels cold and empty.
Who am I?
A Relationship Counsellor based in Melbourne, I am passionately committed to the field of improving, enhancing and supporting relationships. I have completed extensive training and professional development in the relationship field and I continue to invest in my own growth and learning so that I can bring you the very latest expert and evidence-based skills and support to help you create the best relationships you can. Over the last decade I have guided hundreds of couples in Melbourne to improve their relationships through my Relationship Counselling services.
After many years of experience and expertise working in the field of Relationship Counselling I understand how difficult it can be to heal or change your relationship problems. But you do not need to go it alone. It is a sign of wisdom and maturity to know when to seek help.
My husband and I were having problems with our relationship and decided to seek some expert advice. After seeing Margie as a couple, as well as individually, our relationship is in a much better state. Our relationship and the ways we are able to communicate with each other have greatly improved.
I have had the opportunity to deal with a lot of things that happened in my life that I had completely shut off, or just not paid too much attention to how they had affected some of my decisions. It wasn’t about “what is wrong with me.” The sessions were set up as a framework for communicating. Margie taught us a better way to talk to each other, and the method works.
The love was there, but we were slowly disconnecting and becoming defensive over our views. I am so glad that we made the appointments to come and see Margie. She has a real gift for working with people.
